While us girls were getting ready at the hotel closer to the ceremony site, the boys were back in Waikiki at the Westin Moana Surfrider. Mr Piglet spent his last night of singledom with his two little brothers and his best man. It was low key according to the Mr, but I’m sure they squeezed in a few celebratory glasses of scotch with friends also staying at the hotel.

The day kicked off at 8 for the boys. When his groomsmen arrived, Mr Piglet welcomed them with a bouncy hug much like I did with my girls. Heehee, kidding. I think they did some macho handshake, chest bump, and man hug… likely followed by, “Dude, you ready?”

As the boys settled in, Mr Piglet stepped onto the balcony, which extended over the ocean, and was greeted with this view. A wedding in Hawaii/rainbow shot over the ocean… real original! But beautiful, nonetheless.

First thing Mr Piglet did was lay his suit on the bed. Before leaving the night before, I moved some of my things into the suite, wrote my sweet nothings onto a card, and left a little something something for my Mr in his suit garment bag.

Ever since I’ve known Mr Piglet, he’s worn this bike-chain necklace that was given to him by his good friend. His ‘Hyung’ is what he referred to him as in Korean, meaning a close guy friend, older in age, role model-like. Once his Hyung got married, he gave the chain to Mr Piglet at the request of his wife. Mr Piglet wanted to do the same and hand it off to another rascal. So at the rehearsal dinner, he gave it to his brother. He felt naked without it, which I thought might happen, so I gifted him with another more age-appropriate one. He likey.

Being 30 minutes out from Lanikuhonua, Mr Piglet and his guys didn’t have much time to get ready. His groomsmen came dressed and ready to go. So Mr Piglet geared up.

He gelled his hair, which he only does on special occasions.

And was ready in 10. Guys have it so easy!

All prettied up, the guys mellowed out and ate some breakfast brought by Changsik. Changsik has always been the ‘Dad’ of the group taking care of everyone. See… he was so proud of his breakfast selection.

Ballsy, yah? How they ate all of this without feeling like doo-doo is beyond me.

After filling up, the guys moved onto their ties. They struggled a bit. So Changsik came to he rescue.

And he perfected the knot on everyone.

Including Mr Piglet.

The last order of business was to open up another gift from yours truly. I know, I went a little overboard. I couldn’t help it. This wedding gift was so random. I’m not good on the sentimental front. I think of cool things a guy might like, and run with it. This one I may not have thought through. Mr Piglet barely has any facial hair with the exception of some stubble on his upper lip. So I’m not sure what compelled me to buy him this electric shaver.

His buddies had the same reaction. Adam, the furry one, has more facial hair than all of his groomsmen combined. But Mr Piglet is proud to say he uses it everyday.

The clock read 9, and it was time to jet!

As the day went on, these guys got into it. Here, they show us fierce. Aren’t they goofy?

We reserved a mini-bus from Travel Plaza Transportation (TPT) Hawaii to shuttle the boys to Lanikuhonua, and also drive the entire bridal party back from Lanikuhonua after our bridal party shots following the ceremony. The guys were shocked to see a motor coach bus pull up to the curb. Mihoko from TPT told me it was likely that they’d upgrade us, but I had forgotten to mention this to the Mr.

No complaints from them!

And they set off for Lanikuhonua.
