Mrs. Argyle's Picture
Mrs. Argyle, St. Louis Age and Occupation: 24, Project Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 24, Pilot Engagement Date: February 15, 2009 Wedding Date: September 2010 Venue: Jewel Box in Forest Park and Windows on Washington About Me: I'm a true Midwestern girl (born and raised), lover of red wine, reality TV and the entire J.Crew catalog. I love to dance regardless of who is watching, and enjoy a good laugh with my girls. I have a soft spot in my heart for planet Earth, my two dogs and my fiance. Fall is my favorite season (which is why we are marrying in September), but I love a warm summer day and the Colorado mountains in the winter. We are planning a modern soiree downtown, with lots of bold colors, and fun, eco-friendly elements.

First STL Bee Meet-Up

February 18th, 2010 @ 5:56 pm by Mrs. Argyle

In true Weddingbee fashion, St. Louis had to represent with its first St. Louis Bee meet-up. And, we had a pretty good turnout.

Eight of us met up to chat, laugh and talk weddings (of course) at Baileys Chocolate Bar in Lafayette Square. For you non-St. Louisans, we wish you could have joined us. They serve almost chocolate everything (this includes drinks, food AND desserts). How could you pass that up?

Thanks to our bashful waiter, we were able to get a photo to commemorate the first meet-up (and get a rando photo, thanks to his inability to work a point and shoot).

Rando photo – not really sure what’s going on here…

In case you’re wondering, yes, those are name tags! We were pretty sweet rocking our name tags all night!!

A big thanks to the girls who showed up!! AND, for those who could not make it this go around – we are planning on having another in a couple of weeks or so!

We went to Baileys Chocolate Bar as the last stop of my friend’s bachelorette party. Mmmm, it was delicious.

We did name tags too! And the table next to us was making fun of us saying that we were getting so hammered that we couldn’t even remember each other’s names. It was pretty funny, and just for the record we were behaving like ladies. :)

I’m glad that there’s another meet up planned! I had the most lame excuse for not going–dentist appointment!

Next time, you should totally have one on a weekend - I’d LOVE to be there, but I currently live in Columbia (even though my wedding is in STL).

Looks like you guys had a blast though!!
