From a pretty young age, I loved handcrafting cards and paper crafts. It started with hamburger fold, hand-drawn construction paper cards to cardstock and calligraphy, to my scrapbook inspired cards. Please excuse my amateur photography skills.

I made a little card for my photographer after she drove around with us in LA and the OC to take our engagement photos and she took some pro photos of my card! This is making me want to sit down with my X-Acto and self-healing cutting mat!

Do you love cardmaking? What are some of your favorite projects you’ve done?

Love your paper work. Envy it actually. I’d love to do this! Our office is struggling a lot with the economy (we are architects) and hand made stuff is totally where I would head if the office were to close. These are really elegant. I’m going to be making a birthday card for my fiancee, and this really inspires me. Where do you pick up all your paper?

Cute cards! You could totally pull off a side gig selling these. I’ve purchased hundreds of dollars worth of pretty paper, embellishments, stickers, ribbons, etc. over the years and I’ve made a whoppin’ 6 cards…in the last 3 years…all of which look like a third grader made them (no offense to 3rd graders) :) Mr. S loves them though so I guess I’ll keep making them!

These are great! I especially love your eye for pairing patterns and colors. The papers you used in the second and third photos are sooo beautiful!

What are your favorite suppliers/sources? :o)
