Wipe Your Mouth!

February 22nd, 2010 @ 6:43 pm by Mrs. Pencils

A good long time ago, I decided Mr. Pencils and I absolutely, unequivocally needed napkins at our wedding in our colors with our names and wedding date. Instead of doing what many bees before me have done before me and screenprinting my own with a Gocco, I went the easy way (or as Ms. Potato Chips would say - the SEDIP-er way) and I’m proud of it!

The Knot, while not my favorite of wedding websites, has a decently priced Wedding Shop that turned out some cool stuff for us!

The white coasters are quite sturdy and were better than black, the only other option we had.

I really like the cocktail napkins we got:

At twenty bucks for 100 with free personalization, I’m happy with how these will look at our buffet!

Mr. Pencils ALWAYS grabs matchboxes from every restaurant we go to, so I knew we’d have to have some matches to offer our guests, as a small, understated shout out to my future hubby:

What wedding purchases have you made that make you super happy?

How fun! I want to do matchbooks to go with our sparklers, but not sure if it will be another diy project. :) Your collection looks great!

Awww! Love the understated matchbox shout out :) Now I want personalized napkins! But the only way I’m getting that is if I break out a Sharpie and a Costco pack ‘o napkins… so I’ll just live vicariously through you!

I love these! I almost flipped out when our napkins at our engagement party had our names on it. I think I talked for a good 20 minutes straight about those napkins.

I got the napkins from TheKnot too and i LOVE LOVE LOVE how they came out. We are going to use them with the cake… An inexpensive way to add a little more personalization.

I doubt we’ll get personalized napkins for our wedding but maybe we can use some of the 400 we have from my sister’s wedding 2 years ago. We forgot to set them out…think any of our guests will notice their the wrong color, the wrong date, and the wrong bride and groom?

i love the matches - i’m partial to a box of matches as oppose to a book of matches. for some reason in my mind i feel the box is classier. i want to do the matches too! i’ve been keeping my eye out on the knot, they’re always having some sort of sale on something. you’re look great.

Cute and a great deal! Funny story: We’re working our way through someone else’s wedding napkins that were misprinted. A friend’s mom worked at a place that made them and gave her a box, which she gave to me. They’re orange, and quite absorbent. :)

If you sign up for the knot’s coupons, you can get 100 napkins for as little as $14.44 (provided you use their coupon code and buy enough stuff). This is as cheap as I have seen them anywhere…even cheaper than the gocco if you don’t already have one.

I think that’s cheaper than gocco’ing them! I’m showing these to the gocco-crazy mister!
