A while back I started thinking about where and when to do our engagement photos. Initially, I wanted to do them during the spring or summer, when everything is green and bright. I thought we could go up the mountain near our ceremony site. But then I started thinking FALL and SNOW. I was SO over summer.

But wouldn’t the snow have been a perfect backdrop?! We could wear bright colors and it would’ve totally popped! Or we could’ve worn muted, earthy colors and have totally blended into our surroundings… the possibilities are endless! Not to mention the winter fashions are SOOO cute! I love me some bulky sweaters and knit hats!

So I did what any good little blogger does… I GOOGLED! And here is the amazing wedding porn I found…

Then I won a free e-session at a local bridal expo. The session was planned for a few weeks later, and there was no snow… But I think they turned out a-MAY-zing and will post them up later today!

Were you really particular about where and when to do your e-pics? Did it all work out?

Mr. Twista is a very literal thinker. So when I asked where he thought we should do our e-pics he said, “The star [the site of the proposal]. Where else would we do them?” I guess he thought the only logical choice would be to do e-pics where you got engaged. I’m still going to push for doing a few at the hole-in-the-wall greasy spoon where we had dinner pre-proposal.

We did our at our proposal site. He prosposed in a Gazboo at a historic state park. We got a couple of pics in the Gazboo and more in the rest of the park. They turned out great. I wanted wedding pics in that park also, but alas it poured.

Those photos are SO cute! I would have loved to have been able to do snow pictures, but I unfortunately live in TX so we don’t get snow like that!

How cute. I’m hoping I can somehow fit into my wedding dress again (downside of working out super hard + dieting prior to wedding) and get cute pictures in the snow!
