I stumbled across the move “Enchanted” on TV the other day, and was inspired by one of my favorite moments. I love the scene where Giselle breaks into the song “That’s How You Know”. It never fails to make me smile. And today, I got to thinking of the multitude of reasons how I know Mr. Buttons loves me…
He washes the dishes, pots, and pans after we eat dinner.
He buys me ice cream (lots and lots of it).
He is happy just sitting on the couch with me.
He buys me flowers (sometimes “just because”).
He wears outfits because I mentioned that I like how he looks in them.
He always tells me I look pretty before we leave to go somewhere.
He lets me control the TV remote (I know…ridiculous, right?).
So… how do YOU know?
He does my laundry.
He cleans the cat boxes.
He gives me snuggles every day.
He joins me in my ice cream addiction.
he doesn’t judge me when i eat a giant cupcake for lunch. that’s pretty much all i need. ha!

Mr. Doxie wakes up early every day to make my lunch for work, even when he can sleep in instead. Just because he knows I’m always running late.
He cleans the house on his day off and always has a big silly grin on his face when I get home. Like, “See what I did for you??” I LURVE it. And him!
He doesn’t drink coffee, but will still take my Starbucks so I can get my iced caramel macchiato.
That’s such a cute movie!
He loves me because tonight he is making dinner and helping me study for a big test I have this week.
And he’ll sit there and watch the Bachelor Finale with me too for my study break! 
The other day I told him that someday when we can afford it, I want to ALWAYS keep fresh flowers in the house. Two days later he came home with a big beautiful bouquet of flowers for me!

He wears a sweater when he knows we have time to cuddle on the couch because he knows I love how soft it is. He also sits on my feet anytime we’re chilling out because he knows they are constantly cold, so he warms them up for me.
Love that song! Oh so much!
- He’ll buy me flowers just because he loves buying me flowers
- He’ll do the washing up and not complain, even though he hates doing it
- If he goes to bed before I do he’ll lie on my side of the bed to warm it up
- He makes me tea every night
- He doesn’t laugh at my insane ideas
- He’ll admit it when I’m right but he’ll also tell me when I’m wrong and correct me
Sometimes he fills up the gas tank in my truck when it’s low. He doesn’t even mention it, just does it because he notices.
I def think the little things in a relationship help to make it :).
LOVE Enchanted!
I know b/c he:
- cleans up & washes dishes after I cook
- does the laundry more often than I do
- NEVER makes me eat alone (he’ll wait for me if I’m not home; if I’m waiting he’ll make sure to come home ASAP after a late night)
- whenever I start to get mad, he knows that hugging me or making me laugh will diffuse the bomb & get us to start talking rationally
- he admits when he’s wrong & helps me understand when I am (no “I told you so”)
- he lets me have the last cookie, but keeps me from eating too many

OMG soo cute are we getting married to the same man?! lol My FH does the same thing! Now lets see my list..
-He laughs at my jokes
-He will do anything to make me laugh.
-He buys me flowers just because and always makes sure we have fresh flowers on the coffee table and on the kitchen table.
-He does the dishes after dinner!
-He never dampens my excitement over the simplest things! In fact he joins in!
-He loves trying new foods with me which he would have never done before on his own or with anyone else.
-Wants to do everything together so neither of us feel alone.
-He isn’t afraid to say sorry if he’s wrong and he kindly explains why he thinks I might be wrong in a different situation.
-He talks in cute voices to our puppy and lets her chase him around the house lol
-He always, always compliments me!
I’ll stop there because I could go on and on! lol
He turns the heated seat on in the car for me before I get in
I made my fiance a “Deck of Love” for Valentine’s Day this year. I saw it on a blog somewhere. I was going to do it for a wedding gift to him, but couldn’t wait bc I liked the idea. I took a deck of cards and cut out small pieces of paper and wrote one thing I love about him on each piece. Then I glued the piece to the center of a card. Then put two holes in the left side of the cards and used book rings to hold the whole deck together. It cost me about $5, but he really liked it!
i finally saw enchanted on usa the other week and i loved it.
anywho, how i know my guy loves me:
- he lets me mess with his hair [i like to tug on his curls though he hates it when people play with his hair]
- he’ll watch sports with me even though he doesn’t like sports
- he really listens to what i say
- he admits when he’s wrong and lets me know when i am, and not in a totally annoying way either
- he’s my biggest supporter
I love that movie!
-When he thinks I’m sleeping, he turns around, wraps his arms around me, and pulls me as close as he can to him.
-When we fight, he truly means it when he says that he’ll work on the issue, and I see him actively working on it.
- He stays up late on the phone with me when I’m feeling stressed out about work, just to help me de-stress a bit.

Mmmm…ice cream! I love that Mr. A usually gives up the remote - he’s pretty sweet about it!
