I swear, I see her more than I see my sisters. She’s very therapeutic. And I know the cashiers are starting to recognize me.
Today I went to Office Max and finally bought our RSVP cards and envelopes but they seemed a little plain – not shocking considering they are plain white note cards and plain white envelopes. But my bestie Jo-Ann happened to be waiting for me across the street so I decided to stop by and say hi and see if she had any ideas on how to spruce them up. And wouldn’t you know it, I left with these…
Yep, some ink pads and another stamp – and not just one stamp, but three. Because I needed 3 more stamps like I need more lint in my bellybutton. I can’t tell you how bad I want to stamp Mr. N right now as he’s sitting on the other side of the room. Seriously, I think this stamp fascination is getting a little out of control. Honestly though, I really do think one of those is going to look cute on the RSVP cards and envelopes! 
Do you have trouble staying away from craft stores like I do?
Oh yes! I think I’ve been to every craft store in the area enough to know the cashiers by name.

Um…I’m at Michael’s and JoAnn’s EVERY OTHER DAY. It’s gross.
Love those stamps! Jo-Ann’s I love too but she’s almost a 25 minute drive away–here in the same town–so I just hit up Archiver’s, Michael’s or Hobby Lobby.
Thought about trying embossing for the RSVP cards? Don’t emboss on the envelope though, going through the USPS machines it can melt the ink and smudge it I hear.
I have $40 of stamps and ink on its way to me in the mail right now from our shared “bestie,” Nachos! You’re not alone!
And this is only the beginning… sigh.
Yes I’m a Jo Anns and Michaels fanatic. I live in Southern CA and we also have Tall Mouse! I also raid the independent Beading store! I love to make jewelry too! I wish we had a Hobby Lobby from what I keep hearing its a great store! May have to move else where just to be close to one of those!

I was extremely lucky to have a friend working at JoAnn’s who hooked me up with her employee discount when we were buying all our invitations stuff. Stamps are awesome but always so expensive! I get irritated at those packs of stamps for ten bucks, I usually want to split them up and just pay a couple bucks for one or two of them. I love your flourishes, those are just exactly the same kind of stamps I love.
I swear I’m in there with a coupon every week. I always find something else to work on.
I thought Jo-Ann was my bestie! It’s okay, sometimes I cheat on her with Michael, but I never promised to stay in a monogamous relationship with either of them
I have been good recently - no trips in 2 weeks! Of course, I was out of town for 4 days, which helped.

I can’t stay away from Hobby Lobby and Michaels! I have an entire tub full of crafty stuff I know I will use some day, I swear. It was all just too cute to pass up!

I yearn for craft stores these days. I don’t have a car, so I itch for craft stores. It’s a sad state of affairs. I could spend hours in one if you let me.

I was actually just there yesterday and when i saw your post I was like “OMG i must tell her abt this!” because upon leaving yesterday, my friend goes ‘Man screw Jo Ann’s” hah - this place had 20x the amt of fabric joanns did and at fractions of the cost!
However it is mostly fabrics, trimmings, etc. But it is deff worth taking a look at!!
