Unbearably Cute

March 5th, 2010 @ 11:02 am by Mrs. Hot Dog

Not too long ago, Mr. Hot Dog bought me a sewing machine! I’ve never even TOUCHED one, but this wedding business is making me want to flex my DIY muscles. And a sewing machine is absolutely key to pulling off some great projects (IMO).

Projects like a ring bearer pillow! How darling are these? (All from Martha Stewart Weddings)

I’m loving the eyelets! They’re very country chic. ;)

The layering on this pillowing is fab! And, it’s made of suede. Neat, huh?

Unbearably Cute : wedding cheyenne crafts decor Mwa1035 This big ruffly number is a perfect accent to a hair flower.

Unbearably Cute : wedding cheyenne crafts decor Mwd1025 Being a knitter, this one REALLY grabs my attention! There’s just something about them… they’re so quaint!

I love me some buttons! I’m trying to incorporate them in several small ways, so this would work out great!

Which one do you like best? Are you finding excuses to buy new crafting gadgets and try your hand at new DIY ventures?

Cute. MIL crocheted my SIL a very cute ring bearer pillow. We didn’t have a ring bearer.

I saw the knitted one a while back and think I might make it! We don’t presently have a ring bearer though, so we’ll see…

My fiance just bought me a sewing machine for my birthday, all because every time I saw someone make something awesome with a sewing machine, I was like “I wish I could do that!” Now I just have to open it up and learn how to use it…=) I love the flower pillow, if I were having a ring bearer I’d make that one!

A lot of these are very cute, but I think my favorite is the one that looks like a hair flower. How perfect if it echoed the flower in your hair. We are going with a little silver treasure chest filled with flower petals for our rings, though looking at these does make me yearn for the sewing machine that’s on our registry right now. I haven’t had a sewing machine since I moved out of my parents’ house years and years ago, it’s a tragedy.
