Getting My Kicks. (Numero Uno)

March 10th, 2010 @ 12:51 pm by Mrs. Hot Dog

I think the very first wedding item I looked into was shoes. Now, I’m not one of those that has 80 gajillion pairs in my closet. But I do lust after shoes as much as the next girl. Looking at pictures like this,

this,

and ESPECIALLY this…

inspired me to buy THESE:

Getting My Kicks. (Numero Uno) : wedding cheyenne shoes Img004202 Aren’t they cute? With the little bow on the back… MMM. Wanna know the the cutest part? The teeny, tiny price tag! Try $15 with shipping! I know, I know.

Now, I have to admit that after a few weeks and finding more shoe inspiration, I realized that maybe I’d made a hasty purchase… (though I know I’ll wear them and they WERE only $15 ;))

… to be continued.

Have you had shopper’s remorse over anything you’ve purchased for the wedding? Did you move forward with your purchases, or buy and return and buy again until you were satisfied?

You can’t beat $15 for a pair of awesome shoes! As mentioned before, the hive has made me a fan of bright, vibrant colored wedding shoes! I bought ivory colored ones to match my dress, but have been contemplating colored shoes instead… haha!

I personally bought three pairs of shoes for my wedding and ended up wearing the second pair I bought. At $15 you really can’t go wrong, great find!

If you find another pair you love, you could always wear one for the ceremony and then a different pair for the reception (just make sure they’re the same height for your dress hem).

Wow! $15 for those is awesome. They’re super cute. I originally bought a pair and changed my mind and ended up getting a 2nd.

no need for remorse! even if you don’t wear them for the wedding, you can’t beat the price and can always wear them for a different occasion! like running errands. seriously.

As a fellow shoe-a-holic I can justify a shoe purchase for a deal like $15 as long as I wear them once, and since those are fabulous, whether your one time is at your wedding, or on a date with your man, you can’t go wrong! :) I’m loving the bright shoes with the white dress too, the pop of colour is awesome!

Well, considering I am now on my third pair of wedding shoes…

I bought a red pair 2 years ago (our wedding got postponed due to the economy/layoffs.)

But I really wanted blue. So I kept looking. Found a perfect blue pair. But I didn’t return the red ones.

Now, two years later I’m over the blue pair and bought black.

So. I wore the red ones for my engagement pics (and will probably wear them for my bachelorette party). I’ll wear the blues ones for our rehearsal dinner. And the black ones are my official wedding shoes.

So far anyway….

I actually keep going back and forth in my head about my dress!!! lol. its beautiful but I just not sure if its me. I bought it because it was a heck of a deal and I just can’t pass a good deal. I figured I can turn it into something I adored but now Im not too sure anymore :-( I feel ya! But the shoes are adorable
