I Finally Found an Excuse to Wear My Wedding Dress Again!

Although, I am worried it will be peed on. No, I’m not going to go ride the subway with it on. I’m participating in Tuxes and Tails—a benefit to raise money for the Seattle Humane Society. So I have to get all dressed up and walk my little monsters down the runway. Here are said monsters—Dr. Newton and Mrs. Beasley. She’s training to be a lion tamer/dental hygienist. More cuteness here by the way. Totally pimping out my pets. I’m okay with that.

Anyway, I love doing anything to support animals so I am so excited for this event and a chance to wear my wedding dress again. I think I’m going to throw a fun cardigan on though so I don’t look like I’m about to run to the chapel. Here is my dress to refresh your memory:

But I am seriously worried about getting peed on. I mean that would be disastrous and then I REALLY would not be able to sell my dress on Craigslist.

Anyway, have you guys found a reason to wear your dress again?

My dog does that to my cat all the time. It’s a little alarming to guests when the dog appears to be swallowing the cat’s head whole. I can’t think when I’ll wear my dress again after the wedding but I know I’ll want to.

I was able to wear my dress again. A friend had a “Fancy Dress Party” and we all wore our wedding gowns, or bridesmaid dress if we didn’t have one. It was a blast - 20 of us walking around the house in fluffy big dresses. We also had a photoshoot outside, which left people driving by honking! It was funny as well to see some dresses from 15 years ago… and some pretty bad bridesmaid ones!
