A while back, I wrote about wanting colored shoes to wear on my wedding day, and I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled. About a month ago, I found these cute Caparros on Zappos and ordered them right away:

On my tootsies. Ignore the chipped black pedicure.

I liked them, but I wasn’t 100% sure. Zappos has a great return policy though (they give you 1 full year and free shipping both ways!) so I figured these would be a great back-up pair in case I didn’t find other shoes I liked more.

Well, this weekend at Macy’s, I stumbled upon a pair of shoes made by the same manufacturer, and I like them even more! They are a tad darker and they don’t have the rhinestones (I prefer the simplicity considering that rhinestones might clash with my dress). The best part was the price – using my Macy’s coupons and 10% off because they were the floor model, they came out to about half the price of the other blue shoes!

I love them! They remind me of the J.Crew shoes I liked.

While I was originally thinking of wearing blue shoes with my wedding dress (and might still do it), I think I will be wearing these for the city hall wedding. Mr. J will be wearing his Air Force blues, and these shoes will coordinate perfectly!

Oh I love them I’m having a hard time finding “the” red shoes too. How high is the heel on that shoe you bought at Macy’s?

Ooooo! I think you and I have the same pair of shoes (shoe #1)! Mine are Capparos too, but from DSW. I think I like shoe #2 more though - uh oh!

I settled on shoes, because I got sick of looking for the perfect pair. I backed it up with some dancing flip flops, but would totally be open to another pair if the perfect ones fell into my lap.
