Va-jazz-a-what?!?!

March 12th, 2010 @ 5:16 pm by Mrs. Buttons

So… have you heard of the newest beauty craze sweeping the nation???

Hive… it is called VAJAZZLING… aka bedazzling your… well… um… va-jay-jay. Apparently even the celebs are doing it; Jennifer Love Hewitt raved about it on the George Lopez show back in January…

Do you want to see the process in action???

Here is the “tame version” for those of you who just want to hear about it…

So… um… what do you think? Apparently this process is getting very popular for soon-to-be brides. Call me a prude… but I am not putting this on the list of beauty procedures I want to do before the wedding. I just don’t really want to have someone up in my bid-ness like that… and I am pretty sure that Mr. Buttons would be extremely perplexed by it.

Has anyone out there had this procedure done before??? If not, would you be willing to go to one of these salons and have an attendant meticulously place Swarovski crystals on your… nether regions? What kind of design would you want? And, do you think that your SO would like that kind of sparkly surprise on your wedding night?

this has got to be the most bizzar beauty trend I’ve ever heard of. I don’t think I would ever do this. And if I did i’m pretty sure FH would laugh at me.

Don’t you think they would just fall off; pretty much right away?

And if they don’t fall off right away, wouldn’t they get “sweaty” eventually? and where would they go then? would you have to worry about picking out crystals that fell all over the place? IDK…

I’ve recently heard about this and that has got to be the strangest thing! Why spend all that money on crystals that will FALL OFF (and Swarovski aren’t cheap from what I’ve heard)?? Bizarre.

Hahahhahaahhha. For those who feel the Brazilian wax misses the too-personal/up-in-the-business mark!

And wouldn’t the de-vajazzling be really really painful? I’m seriously ROFLing here!

Hahaha my FI would say the same thing Doxie! It’s looks a little… out of place… LOL

The second video kind of ruined it for me. The little heart was somewhat appealing and “tasteful” (I hesitate to use that word), but the second look was a little much. Wouldn’t that be uncomfortable too? Catching on fabric? Thanks for the fashion update!

This absolutely perplexes me….why would anyone want to spend so much money on decorating their vajay-jay? I can’t think of any man who would find this attractive…I know for a fact that my SO would just laugh at me and probably ask wtf? But then again, he’s really not into sparkly, frilly stuff anyway.

Um… my fiance would stare, and ask me what the heck that is! I don’t see anything in it for “me”, either….

Alright, as far as the embarrassment factor, it’s not any different than getting a bikini wax or such treatment, but seriously? These people are brilliant. These things are nothing more than those cheap little stick-on crystals that girls used to put on their shoulders and chests for prom (maybe they still do, I dunno) but hyped into a “procedure” to “beautify” your lady bits. They must be making a KILLING.

I thought that the stick-on crystals back at prom looked like a disturbing blend of “Pretty Pretty Princess” and a Britney Spears video, personally, so no, the idea of decorating the mons pubis in similar fashion is not a turn-on.

I can honestly say, from a guys perspective, this seems a little ridiculous. Also, wouldn’t those crystals hurt when you’re uh… consummating your marriage during honeymoon times? Just sayin’.
