When Mr. Starfish proposed, shortly after I said yes, he just picked me up and started swinging me around on third beach (the beach in Middletown, RI, where we had our proposal picnic). He’s done it many times before then and many times after, but now every time he does it, it brings me back to those exciting few moments shortly after he proposed. The excitement. The happiness. Pure joy. Inexplicable. Undeniable. Most amazing moment of my life. (So far.)
When we were deciding on where to take our engagement pictures, I knew we had to include third beach as a location and I wanted to recreate that moment.
Well, we did, and it brought me back all over again.
Is there anything that reminds you of the moment your fiance proposed? Does it still bring back all the feelings you had when he asked you to be “THE ONE”?
How sweet!
I take my rings off every night, and prop it up in the beautiful black velvet case it came in, so every morning I get to see it the same way I first saw it! (Although now it has my wedding band soldered to it)
O-M-G! Way too cute!! Love it, love it, love it! I think if me and FI go back to the top of the slopes where he proposed, I would look at that very spot and just smile from ear to ear while reminiscing that moment (am now that you ask!).

At the end of last year, he and I signed a lease on our first place together. There were a ton of renovations done, and the landlord gave us a key so we could see the progress. One night when we were over checking on things, he got down on one knee in our kitchen and proposed. Now that we’re all moved in, every time I’m in there, I can see the spot where were engaged
