My Flower Girl’s Frock

March 24th, 2010 @ 5:57 pm by Mrs. Buttons

Dressing up the smaller members of our bridal party is so much fun! Every time I walk into a store that has a children’s department, I find myself veering toward the girls’ dresses… and promptly oohing and ahhing over them! What is even better is that with Easter quickly approaching, the amount of dresses available is amazing!

Well… one day Mommy Buttons and I were walking through Marshall’s (one of our favorite stores), and we struck gold! Hanging on the rack was an adorable ivory dress that appeared to be a great match to the details on my own gown!

At $25, we snatched it up in an instant - what a deal, right? I certainly won’t stick my nose up at it!

To make sure that it fit in with my gown, I brought the flower girl dress along with me to the dress shop. And what do you know… it couldn’t be more perfect! What do you think?

Did you have a fun time shopping for your “mini” bridal party members? Did you find any good deals when you were shopping?

@silverbuggy: It is “American Princess.” However, I’ll have to go check on the style name/number!

It’s perfect!!! Never thought of looking at Marshalls! Great find! I hate to say that my daughter’s flower girls ordered theirs from Nordstroms and I think they were $100 :-(

If only we were having a flower girl! I also walked into Marshall’s the other day to see their beautiful display of Easter dresses. That would have been great! The one you chose looks wonderful with your dress.

Cute!!! I’m drooling over all of the Easter dresses right now, but it’s too soon for me to buy anything for my FG - she’s growing too quickly!

Lovely dress. I would really like to find this dress in 3t or 4t for my flower girl. The dress matches mine great too.
I looked at Marshalls here in Madison,WI but no luck. If anyone finds it and would be willing to buy and I pay through paypal please let me know.

@SanDiegoAli: Dang…even a better price than me!!! Lucky!

@rlloren: I know that they also sell that brand at Dillards/maybe some other department stores? They have an array of ones that are very similar in style, even if this particular one isn’t available!
