Today I realized that I haven’t given the hive a proper introduction to my Lovely. That’s what I call her. I used to call her Precious but people were getting freaked…

Anywho, I decided to do a little photo shoot with her. Now, I only have a point-and-shoot and VERY limited photographic skills, so please don’t judge! Here it goes!

And here she is, at home on my hand.

I love her!! Mr. Hot Dog did such an amazing job picking her out. He knew exactly what I did and didn’t want and made an awesome decision!

Did you FI get exactly what you were picturing in an e-ring? Or did he get you something totally different, but still completely perfect?

It’s beautiful! Is it a solitaire with an enhancer or is all one piece? It’s very lovely.

I thought I knew exactly what I liked and didn’t like in rings. When he asked for my thoughts and tastes, I sent him pictures of what I thought I liked. He went to the jeweler and they looked at my pics - picked out what they thought I liked about the styles of rings I had said I liked…and then disregarded them and moved on!

Turns out he knows me better than I know me! he picked out a diamond shape and style I was certain I would not like, and I LOVE it. I cannot imagine loving anything as much as what he picked for me. He picked a gorgeous ring all on his own with a ton of thought, effort and consideration put into it and it is perfect on me! He did wonderful

Mr. Taco proposed with Mr. Sparkles (as we seriously call it) on a loaner band. I went and picked a new band with two smaller stones on either end, so I guess the answer to the question is “kind of”

Mine wasn’t what I expected - it’s marquise in white gold - it’s very similar to yours Miss Hot Dog! But I totally love it now.

The only thing I’m having trouble with is finding a band that works with it. I think I’ve found a solution though, by getting an enhancer.

I might still look around a bit, I think you’re looks great! Cute photos too. This reminds me I need to do some “glamour shots” of mine as well.

I totally did a photoshoot with my ring too! It was actually a good learning experience with the many settings on my simple point and shoot camera. I told him exactly what I wanted… and he took some of my ideas and got me a ring that I honestly can’t imagine anything better than.

completely different and absolutely perfect!! I always thought I wanted princess cut style and ended up with an amazing brilliant cut set in an elaborate split shank setting. He did good!
