So I mentioned that we decided to buy a house. ‘Member?

Well, we just put in an offer on one today! I have to say, I don’t know if this would have been possible had we not planned the wedding we did. Leaving all the little details in the hands of the hotel’s wedding coordinator has bought us a ton of free-time to see things like this…

… a bunch of dead creepy sea life floating in a jar (sorry Miss Jellyfish, Oyster, Starfish and Turtle).

Which child are they referring to? I must have missed him/her.

Anywho, I just wanted to say that I have yet another reason to love our destination wedding planning; it has really helped the nerves because I don’t have to care too much about the details and I can let someone else take care of the little stuff. In the end, we’ve been able to check a monumental occasion off our list with the wedding rapidly approaching. It’s gonna be a big year, and a great one at that!

Oh my gosh.. that is so stressful. We made an offer IN PERSON when we bought our house.. we were offering a bunch less, and our realtor said it’s harder for them to turn down a decent offer when they have met you & see how nice you are.. worked out for us!

People are SO WEIRD!! But congratualtions on the new place
We bought a house in January, moved at the end of February and are getting married in May. Who knew me being out of work was the only way we had the time to do this!

We took a 3 month break from wedding stuff to buy a house. With a 15 mo engagement we could afford to do that… and now we have a house. so yay! Also? that door is WEIRD

Congrats! We can’t wait to have a place to call our own, but it’ll definitely have to wait until after grad school. Those sea creatures in the jar are CREEPY. Ugh. Glad you found the right house though!

We bought a house together almost 2 years ago, before we were even engaged. I cannot even imagine going through the stress of buying a house at the same time as wedding planning!!! I’d probably end up in a mental institution.

Wedding planning is the only big thing I’ve had going on lately, however my fiance is in the process of studying for the 3rd (and final - FINALLY) CFA exam which is arguably the hardest licensing exam and sucks up 6 months of your life for 3 yrs (we have not ever known a spring together, just me and a shell of FI’s former self). I have no idea how he balances his job, stydying and my indecisive wedding planning craziness.
