After what seemed like an eternity, we stood there ready to wed and begin our lives together as husband and wife. With our hands locked together, my nerves slowly began to calm. Who would’ve thought that my bestie’s failed attempt to set us up in college would lead to happily ever after eight years later? Me! I love my Mr Piggy.

… especially when it comes to origami hearts! See what I did there, see? (Pats self on back for particularly bad wordplay.)
I saw this post on Green Wedding Shoes this week and my brain pretty much started screaming you must make these. After all, weddings are all about the love (which = hearts, right?), and we already know I’ve signed myself up for way too many origami flowers! Amy of Eat Drink Chic used these origami hearts as invitations to her engagement party, which I think is an amazing idea.

Mr. Sew popped in the movie Fanboys, and went to town with the invitation cutting. Since we only have one paper cutter, and the movie had rendered the computer unusable for the next hour or so, I brought out the little wooden cake-topper people I had bought from Michaels a while back.
I started by sketching on them with pencil.
