I’m taking a quick breather from recaps to congratulate my beautiful friend on her nuptials last weekend! She’s probably sipping on some mai tais in Honolulu as we speak. Jealous!

Isn’t she beautiful? During the planning stage, the girl was the chillest bride ever… she takes low maintenance to another level. She had a couple of projects in mind, but to be honest, I don’t think she would’ve care if they got done or not. See? …So laid back and composed. I insisted that I help. While working on them, I’d check in along the way to ensure what was in progress was what she envisioned, but her response was always the same, “I trust you! Sure! Yes!” Heehee. Free reign. Love it!

The silhouettes took less than 30 minutes, I kid you not. That doesn’t include the mounting, but Mr Piglet had that done in the blink of an eye. Tutorial forthcoming!

I think I began as that bride, but somehow lost her along the way. Nice job on the silhouettes!

I love the silhouettes!! I never was one to want to display an engagement photo of us (hence no engagement photo session for us), but I really love this silhouette idea…can’t wait for your tutorial!

By the way, do you know if your friend’s dress is the Oleg Cassini CRL277 from David’s Bridal? The bodice looks really similar. I *almost* got that dress! It looks sooo beautiful on her.

I totally envy people who can be the laid back bride.. I had a friend like that too! I couldn’t believe it, I’m always so stressed. I wish I could take the “it’s the event, not how it’s presented approach”! I might get there the week before… but.. uh, yeah, I won’t… but I wish I could!

@lkristine7: It’s actually a photoshop brush I downloaded from classicbride.blogspot.com. Since there weren’t an insane amt of envelopes, I fed them through the printer one-by-one.
