About Mrs. Beagle

First up, the girls:

I gave each of my bridesmaids a grey wrap, to keep them warm in case it was cool later in the evening. The color looked great with their purple dresses and I think it’s neutral enough for them to wear again:

I also decided to get them a piece of jewelry to wear, if they chose, on the big day. I was debating between earrings or a necklace and finally decided on a necklace. I purchased them all from Jeweled Blossoms (I purchased items from her shop prior to the wedding, so I knew her products were great). Again, I tried to choose an item that would both work with their dresses and would be something they could wear again.

Coincidentally, they were each packaged in purple boxes… appropriate, no?

Finally, I intended to make each bridesmaid a clutch to hold all their necessities, but I ran out of time and only completed two. :( So, my MOH ended up receiving one, while I used the other. They were fairly simple to make; however, because this was a last minute project, I didn’t take any pictures of the DIY process—a tutorial will have to come later. The (removable) flower was graciously sent to me by Mrs. Margarita. :)

Next up: The guys

I had absolutely no idea what Mr. Beagle’s groomsmen would like as gifts, so I let him take full control of the reigns on this task. He started and ended his search online, getting all that he needed from this site. For the groomsmen, Papa Beagle, and FIL Beagle, he decided to get very large beer mugs, personalized with their initials:

The ushers got flasks, personalized with their initials:

Our peeps received their gifts at our rehearsal dinner, the night before the wedding, and I think they were all well liked!

What are you getting your bridesmaids/groomsmen?

I plan to do the same thing and make clutches for all my girls! Are you going to post a how-to on how you made them?

THANK YOU for this post. I was just trying to decide on giving gray pashminas for my girls to wear with their purple dresses!

I’m planning on giving them a monogrammed purse hanger, monogrammed wine glass, earrings and the gray pashmina.

Those gifts for your maids are just perfect! If my maids weren’t wearing long dresses, I would so give them shaws in a minute. But mid september should still be warm.

The clutch is super cute!! Your gifts were great :) I’m giving my girls a necklace I found on etsy… however, I think I need to beef up the gifts some more after reading your post.

great idea on the clutch! I’m torn between gray cashmere cardigans (my colors are yellow and gray) or gray pashminas. Now I want to make each girl a clutch as well!

@emagnus10: Yes, I will be doing a tutorial on how to make the clutch, I’m not sure when- as soon as I can set aside few extra minutes :)

I’m giving jewelry and manicure kits. Figure if I ask them to wear a certain color on their nails, I might as well provide if for them.

I’m still having major issues figuring out what to do for the groomsmen. Our problem is that 4 of 6 are under 21 (all siblings), so a flask or a mug seems very inappropriate. Any ideas?

Great gifts! @ Rebecca, we got our groomsman MLB jackets of their favorite teams (which happen to be 3 rival teams!) When I purchased them, they were buy 1, get the 2nd 40% off so it was a great buy! Our girls will be getting tiffany necklaces as well.

Pashminas are sure-wins. I made (okay, my MIL made) Stiletto’s clutches for the BMs-and me!-and a couple of mini clutches for my reader & invite designer.
