You see, right now I should be finishing invites, but frankly, I don’t want to right now. In light of yesterday’s post, I’m going to do the complete opposite. Well, not complete, as none of this is coming via wedding blogs, but complete opposite in the fact that the duds I’m about to post are fairly out-of-reach and bananas. (Ugh, especially that striped Chanel number. Uh, yes please.) Yes, love me and hate me, but you have been warned. For the most part, these beautiful dresses are not in fact bridal, but would make some lovely jumping-out-of-the-box dresses.

So ladies, just so that I can live vicariously through you, who has gone the non-bridal route or is considering it? And tell me all about it. Please. The more out-there, the better.
i actually like the fifth dress. couture is weird, i have never understand it
I lack the ‘cajones’ of wearing an ‘out of the box’ wedding gown, haahaahaahaahaa

OMG I love many of theses but I love love the purple and black puffy dress. Zoe Saldana wore the same dress to the Oscars. I loved it then and still find it a great dress.

The pink and beige one looks like she shoved tissue paper into her dress.
The purple one at the top looks like the whole dress is tissue paper. Maybe after she got married in it , she saved it to wrap easter gifts.

If I could have afforded something like these dresses, they are what I would have worn. I’m getting married in a museum of contemporary art - what could have been more fitting?? But, alas, I went with a strikingy simple and modern asymmetrical dress.

I may be the only one who feels this way, but most of those dresses are beyond ugly!! I only see two that I like, the rest kind of horrify me.
I’m still drooling over the black lace number. Oh my how i would LUUUUUURVE to wear that!
I do not exactly understand couture, but those gowns are certainly works of art.
