Sunday I went up to my friend Sharon’s house for some foiling/hair cutting fun… we took care of each others’ atrocious roots (don’t judge the lazy stylists) to make sure we’re in tip-top shape for next week, and at the same time I was able to drop off our OOT bags. Ah, there’s room in my closet again! Sharon is truly my hero – she’s taking the bags down there for us in the same bag we plan to stuff full of wedding dress for her return flight home. Yep, she’s taking that off my hands, too. I figured I’d see if she could also stuff these bad boys into said bag to which she happily obliged…

Ahem, anywho, I made one for each bag – 24 in total – they contain 2 Tylenol packets (for the hangovers), 2 Advil packets (for the sunburnt), 4 Band-Aids (for the clumsies), and 2 small bottles of suntan lotion (for the pasties). And like a good little crafty beaver bride on my last day with absolutely nothing to do before the wedding, I decided to make cute little tags for each insert.

As I left Sharon’s house a whole lot blonder and 24 OOT bags lighter, I gave her a hug and realized it was the last time I’d see her until we’re 2120 miles from home! Seriously though, I don’t know what I’d do without this girl.

Those are so cute. We decided to nix the OOT bags. Most people are from intown, most of the out of towners aren’t able to come (at least that’s the jist we have been given). My mom says no one will miss them. I tend NOT to agree, but they are out of the budget for us. Yours are super cute!

@alivoo01: Ahhh, and there’s so much more that’s going into them, that’s just one piece!!
@Ella1978: I guess it’s true if they don’t know about them, they won’t miss them but it was fun personalizing the canvas bags I found and thinking of things to fill them with. And we leave this weekend, wedding is next week! And thank you!!

@alvina: Sorry, I should have mentioned that in this post, huh? The suntan lotion was from Target (not sure how much because my FMIL got them for us - I think they might have been in the $1 bins though). The Tylenol and Advil came from Office Max - you can buy boxes of 50 packets for around $17. And I just bought 2 big boxes of regular band aids at Walgreens and split them up
