After my post about the water bottle labels went up, a few people asked for a template, and I’m happy to share!

Once I had my template personalized for our bottles, I saved the .psd file as a .jpg. I then loaded the MS Word template for Avery 6579 (I had to download it from here), inserted my .jpg 4 times and arranged on the Avery template. Once printed, I had to cut them out individually but with only 24 of them, it didn’t take too long. That’s it!

Oh, and while I’m here, I wanted to show you what my mom has been up to….

She got to choose an animal to paint for our rectory’s lawn rendition of Noah’s Ark and she chose bees. Momma Nachos is in the bee spirit, too!

Your mom has some seriours artistic talent! The bottle labels are too cute, but alas, I am far too lazy to spend time on labels . . or invitations (seriously, I bought mine at Michaels on sale for $30 a pack). I am so glad no one attending my wedding reads weddingbee, my store bought invites would be put to shame compared to the masterpieces the bees have come up with!

Love your labels! We used a panel of ours to tell the story of how we met (at the Kentucky Derby) and to set up the rest of the “tie ins” for the day (Mint Juleps at the cocktail hour, tables named after the horses that raced that year, etc.); the bottles not only kept people entertained and refreshed during the wait for our outdoor ceremony, but are one of the details guests still talk about

Great template! I thought about doing custom water bottles too, but our venue provides big jars of iced tea and lemonade for free already.

Those bees your mom made are so cute!

I’m totally doing water bottle labels too. I made very simple labels using our monograms (purchase from etsy) and some barcode, recycling, nutritional facts I borrowed from another template online. I just made them in powerpoint instead of something fancier like photoshop. I made some for my bridal shower too because my BMs are either out of state, out of the country, or dealing with grad school and a new baby.

Thanks so much for the template! I’m saving it for sure! Here’s a tip: When you set up the document, if you set the resolution to at least 300 or 600 pixels/inch you will get crisper letters and images. You have it set for 72. Its under Image ->Image Size. It might not have made a difference cause the label was small. Just thought u would like to know for next time!

They look great!

A tip that I have to add - use packing tape to seal the labels - cut packing tape to length (longer than label), attach to label, then cut another piece of tape to length and stick it on the back. Make sure the labels are a tad bit smaller than the the tape, to allow the 2 pieces to seal around the entire label!
