Our Save the Dates arrived!!!
It was so painful sitting at work when I got an email saying they were delivered. I could not wait to get home to check them out! This is what I saw when I got there:
unassuming USPS priority mail box (and Buddy)
and then…
(sorry to draw this out but like a good striptease, you gotta go layer by sexy layer)
Mm, what’s this interesting box next to my Kong
Hehe, gratuitous puppy pics. Voila! The full monty:
Trying to get fancy with my simple point and shoot camera.
Can you spot the Cone of Shame??
Aren’t they gorge? Too bad the interwebs isn’t set for feel-o-vision yet because the paper is really nice - a smooth finish thickish stock. I got them in a size to fit an A6 envelope (4.75″ x 6.5″). A7 (5.25″x7.25″) is typically standard size for an invitation and since this was just a Save the Date, I went down a level.
Unfortunately though, there are no pre-cut envelope liners in this size so I have to DIY cut all of mine… but that’s a post (or rather mishap) for another day.
What did you do first when you got your Save the Dates?
