Hive fives all around! Sorry, the puns stop here… I just couldn’t resist.
Hello everyone – I’m Miss Frog and I’m absolutely thrilled to be the newest bee! I’ve been reading Weddingbee for a good 3 years (shh, don’t tell Mr. Frog) and although I always thought it would be uber cool to be a bee, I’m now pinching myself that it’s actually happened!
Before I launch in with all of the fun details about Mr. Frog (here out referred to as Frogger) and me… I first have to share a photo with you that was taken the day I found out I was accepted to Weddingbee. My Matron of Honor “Banannie” scored it through coworkers and insisted that we meet for drinks to celebrate.
Can you take it? I had multiple questions for Banannie when she showed up with this little gem.
She responded with:
And this is just the beginning. After sending out an email to all of my bridesmaids, I was met with the following responses:
Bridesmaid Creeker who was up in Sedona at the time: “AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH! I’m screaming all the way from the red rocks!!!”
Bridesmaid Big Apple in NYC: “OMG!!! YAY!!! SCREAMING FROM THE 22nd FLOOR!!!”
Bridesmaid Banannie who brought me the adorable bee hat: “OMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG!!! THAT’S FANTASTIC!!! Yay! This calls for champagne!!!”
Bridesmaid Berk in Seattle: “Way to go girl!
So proud of you, this is so exciting!”
Bridesmaid Belle: “Oh my goodness!!! This is SO very exciting! Can’t wait to read you first BEE post! Congrats - no one deserves this more! :)”
And I couldn’t provide these little responses without including the best one of all, from my Mom. After a long conversation of me gushing about my acceptance to the hive, she sent me the following email:
Hey Sweetie,
Just wondering - if you are a bee and I’m the mother of a bee—Doesn’t that make me a Queen Bee??? Sounds right to me!
Love, The Queen
P.S. Major Congrats! Yeah-h-h-h-h-h-h-h!
Isn’t that just so cute? My friends and family are awesome.
And speaking of awesome, I should probably talk about Frogger.
We each moved to Arizona for college and met right before I graduated. He’s originally from Seattle (Go Seahawks!) and I’m originally from Michigan (Go Red Wings!). We’ll be celebrating seven years together just one month before our wedding. He’s my best friend and we both feel very lucky to have found one another. We find that we are a perfect balance for one another. I’m outgoing, a big planner, and the perfectionist type and he’s a laid back, go with the flow, calm type of person—I motivate him and he relaxes me.

We’re both big animal lovers, neither of us have ever had a drop of coffee (pause for reaction) and are hoping to eventually both work remotely so we can explore living in a variety of different places before we settle down and start a family. For now, we’re enjoying our life in the sun with our two fur babies Keebler and Riley (affectionately referred to Keebs and The B).

We are so excited to be planning our dream wedding in our favorite destination – I can’t wait to share all of the details with you!

Anyone else old enough to remember playing Frogger?
Join us as we try to navigate this wild wedding ride; we are so excited to be here!
P.S. - I’m pretty sure the hive has a new theme song - ever since I found out, Frogger and I have been singing THIS.
