I’m coming out! I want the world to know. Got to let it show.

I may not have the furry, sparkly ensemble that she’s sporting but it is white—I feel like we connect on that level. Sing it Diana.

As I began blogging, I’d been a bit guarded in terms of personal photos, stories, etc. I honestly can’t give you a solid reason why I chose this route but I will say that after support from both Frogger and my bitchin’ bridesmaids, I’ve decided to let it all hang out. Here goes!

Ta Da!

Frogger and I live in Phoenix and met back in 2003. We’re just a couple of young kids. We’ll be celebrating seven years together just a month before the wedding.

Each summer we have taken a trip to a lake house that his family owns in a beautiful area of Washington state called Chelan (pronounced Shell-Ann). Lake Chelan is the third deepest lake in the nation and is glacially fed so it’s crystal clear and really refreshing on a hot summer day! The whole area is home to wineries and orchards – it’s really one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. Looking back through our relationship, Frogger and I both agree that Chelan is undoubtedly interwoven into our story of falling in love. We have so many wonderful memories there – I can’t even begin to explain the significance of this place.

When we got engaged, we knew there was only one place that would fit for our wedding – Lake Chelan. We want to share the specialness of this place with those most important to us. Now that I’ve overcome my stage fright, I’m looking forward to really sharing our wedding journey with all of you and hopefully giving you some great inspiration along the way!
