Happy Friday hive!

Many hive members have suggested that we update our registration parameters to allow non-engaged users to bypass having to add a wedding date. Since we have so many different users—brides, bridesmaids, wedding enthusiasts, married, and yet to be engaged members—we’ve updated registration page with a drop-down menu that allows you to bypass having to enter a wedding date, should you not have one!

If you’ve registered in the past with a “fake” wedding date (because you don’t have one), feel free to edit your profile to reflect your status if you’d like! We know that there were a lot of members that were itching for this update, and we’re glad to deliver.

If you have an idea that you’d like to see implemented on Weddingbee, head over to the Ideas Board and make a suggestion! And be sure to vote on and comment on your favorite ideas so we can better understand what hive members want the most.

Hi! This is a great idea…but when I went to update my info it is now requiring me, since I am married, to enter a wedding date of 2000 or later….I’ve been married since 1995….any way that can be adjusted?

THANK YOU. I just completed my registration. I’ve wanted to register but didn’t have a wedding date so I appreciate this change.

even though i registered before there was a required date entry, i’m glad to see the process updated!

Thank you! I registered when no wedding date was needed, however I edited something else from my profile later on and it made me pick a wedding date. I like the new plan!

this is great! i’m so excited to register here, i’ve wanted to for some time but didn’t want to lie about The Date (don’t need bad karma while waiting…)!
