Our invitations arrived on Wednesday, and I am just giddy with excitement! Our mailman probably thought I was crazy, considering how fast I grabbed the box out of his hands and closed the door on him.
I know I haven’t shared much about our invitations yet… but I love them so much that once I get started, I’m sure you’ll be begging me to stop. For now I’ll just say that I designed them myself and had them letterpress printed by Kristin at Twin Ravens Press. They turned out even better than I’d imagined, with double thick Crane Lettra paper, delicious indentations of my most favorite fonts, and pink envelopes, of course! I will slowly reveal them to you over the next couple weeks as I’ve only begun the little touches I’m planning to add!

You’re such a tease!!! I want to seeeeee!! We JUST ordered ours! They’re also letterpress from Invitations by Ajalon. We went with one of their designs but incorporated our own fonts. I’m so excited to see them!
I’d like to echo Jelly’s statement - tease! I want to see them too! We’re still trying to nail down some color choices, but the design itself is pretty much settled.
Oh man, don’t remind me. Mine need to go out next week and I’m still not close to being done…

I’m a bit in a standstill…. fear of wasting a gocco screen has me putting off making mine.
Nice cardboard boxes… now what do your invitations look like? 
I was super pleased with mine, too. My mom did them for us DIY, and we’ve gotten so many compliments since they went out last week. Can’t wait to see you unveil yours!
Letterpress and Crane Lettra paper? I’m already loving them.

I love them. We designed our invitations ourselves and am so glad we did. It’s nice to have a unique invitation unlike anyone else.
