A Bandana for the Flower Dog?

April 28th, 2010 @ 6:09 pm by Mrs. Jellyfish

If we end up having our puppy in the wedding, it will definitely be as the flower dog. I was thinking of attaching a couple fake buds to his collar to spruce him up for the big day, but then I saw this:

A Bandana for the Flower Dog? : wedding pets pleasanton 12 1

Available here

It says “10 Reasons Why I Should Have Been Best Man” and they are:

  • I am always happy to see him
  • I always took time for him when no one else would
  • I never tried to steal his girlfriend
  • I never made him stay out too late
  • I was the first to know they were in love
  • I always listen
  • I never judge
  • I never give bad advice
  • I always keep his secrets
  • After the wedding, I will still be his best friend.

How cute is that? I think it’s just adorable. Here is a pic of it in action:

Gratuitous puppy shot. How could you resist this face?

If you’re having pets in your wedding, are you dressing them up in any way?

We will most likely be having one of our dogs in the wedding. He will be a ring bearer. I will be getting him a suit to match everyone else. I am thinking about maybe putting a pillow on him also.

Having our furry baby in the wedding was super important to me! Our venue is happy to have him so I’m thrilled! Our golden retriever will rock a double sided satin bow in our color embroidered with our monogram. I wanted a ring of flowers on his neck but I didnt think spending the money on something I knew would get eaten was worth it. We appointed my sister’s boyfriend (an important guy to us but not a groomsman) as the “official dog tender” for the day so he’ll make sure the pup is ready to go and not overly excited. I can’t wait! :-)
