It’s finally here, after twenty months. I am about to marry Mr. Pencils, the man I couldn’t have imagined if I tried hard enough—he’s more than I could have asked for and better than I ever could have dreamt of. It’s been a hectic, crazy, amazing week, and I am so excited that the day is upon us.

I meant to post many, many more “Week of the Wedding” posts—they were even titled and saved, and life just got away from me. Please forgive me for the sparse posting in the last few weeks, but as many have attested to, the final weeks before the big day go by ridiculously quickly. I’ve been blessed to have so many amazing people around me this week, including old friends who quite literally made every cookie (favor) we are giving out, and family that makes me laugh and cry at the same time.

You all have been such an awesome additional family that I’ve been lucky enough to be a part of for the last four months—thank you for welcoming me with open arms, laughing at my ridiculous faces, and smiling with me as I make every decision, big and small, for this momentous day. I hope those who are in the throws of the final weeks enjoy the madness, and those with many moons to go enjoy the sweet lull of time left.

I’ll see you all on the other side!
