About Contests

Congratulations to our winner, sasapok!

~~~
We’ve long loved Minted for their awesome save the dates and holiday cards. But did you know that much of their stationery is designed by their community of thousands of indie designers all over the world? Through their Design Challenge, designers can submit their stationery, and the Minted community at large regularly votes in which designs will be added to the Minted collection. When added, designers receive a reward and commission every time their suites sell on Minted!
While Minted has offered luxurious letterpress wedding invitations exclusively in the past, today they’ve launched over 100 full wedding invitation suites created by independent designers through their design competitions. These stunning community favorites are now available to brides at a great price (starting at $251 for a set of 50 invitations, response cards and envelopes!). And to celebrate their inaugural launch, Minted is giving away 100 full wedding suites to one lucky Weddingbee reader, valued at over $1500 with all of the bells and whistles—liners, backers, skinny wraps, thank you cards, information cards, return address printing, and even Minibooks!
Check out everything that’s offered in this prize:
With the latest technological breakthroughs, their flat printing is truly exceptional and allows Minted to offer lots of details normally reserved for expensive invitations. Minted carries a wide range of designs, from traditional to modern.
One cool thing about Minted’s flat-printing is that you can use the back of the card, too. Minted offers matte candy colored eye-catching backers! And because their Custom Cut Slip-In Envelope Liners are delivered to you unassembled, having custom coordinated envelope liners is a totally affordable upgrade, and just requires you to slip them in yourself using a little bit of adhesive. A little labor on your end equals big savings!
Finally, Minted’s minibook can be used for anything: save the date, destination guide, thank you note, party favor… the sky is the limit!
In honor of Minted’s community designed wedding stationery launch they are offering 15% off wedding invitation suites through 5/31. If you’re interested in checking out their great designs in person, they also give three samples for free.
To enter, simply head over to Minted’s wedding invitations page and leave a comment telling us which is your favorite and why.
And for an additional chance to win, follow @weddingbee on Twitter and retweet the contest by simply clicking here. From there, comment again here and let us know you retweeted! You have until  Wednesday, May 5 at midnight PST to enter. Good luck!
The contest closes on Friday, May 7th and the winner will be randomly selected and announced on Monday, May 9th.
Good luck!
Love the Simple Sophisticate wedding invitations! We are having a red and aqua themed wedding and we feel like the invitations set the mood just perfectly. Fun but still very sophisticated!
Ooh, awesome invite suites! I love Lana. Elegant but not TOO formal for our traditional wedding.
What fun! I am in L-O-V-E with the “Opera” suite by Cococello. It has the perfect mix of formal and fun, modern and retro. It would be perfect for us!
I love the beloved orchid wedding invitation in carrot and grey and think it’s perfect for our wedding. Orange orchids figure prominently in our wedding, including bouquets and centerpieces. This is in an effort to commemorate my fiance’s Chinese heritage. These invitations would tie our wedding together perfectly!
I love the Firefly invitations because we are using mason jars as centerpieces at our wedding. But I also like the simplicity of the Clavel design. Too many to choose from . . .
My favorite is the Willow Tree Wedding Invitation. I love the organic look and the simplicity of it. Yet it still has such a modern and elegant feel. It would be perfect for our outdoor wedding.
My favorite is the Pear Nouveau. I love the way the pear is created by the words. The gingham backing makes me so happy and is so perfect for our outdoor wedding!
I am in love with the fireflies invitation in Lobelia, but for our wedding I’d probably go with the Fall Carving, since we’ve got a park/tree theme going on. :-) What a great giveaway!
Everything is so gorgeous!!
I love “Say Something” since Say Anything has been my favorite movie for 20 years, but the simplicity of the “Opera Wedding” invites would be my ultimate pick. The pattern resembles a celtic knot, which I’m hoping to somehow involve in our wedding since both our families are of Irish descent.
