No, Mr. Hot Wings, this post is not for you. Dress Photos ahead, y’all.
After all the complaining last time, it’s time to get back on track. With all of the schooling, graduating, grading, packing, moving, wedding planning, maintaining a social life, something had to give, right? Some of you mentioned on the previous post the need to prioritize. I agree. Let’s start with how to prepare my body for these dresses below.
(1) My bachelorette party dress that Hottie of Honor sent to for me. It’s a Free People gold and white sequin dress.

(2) I’ll be wearing this pretty J.Crew Dress as a BM in Brideswoman Hottie A’s wedding in July.

(3) And the ultimate dress prep is for my wedding dress. Did I mention that I picked her up already? Because I did. These pictures are from over the Christmas holiday. Sorry for the poor quality.
OK, just one more to make up for the pictureless post last time. She came with a manufacturer’s bustle! It’s still way too long, but it’s fun to see and have if I didn’t have the moola for a new bustle.

So, back to prepping for the dress. I looked at all the things I had to do in a day and then in a week. Going to the gym is a difficult task for me because it isn’t very close to my apartment and requires me to take the el train there. Without the gym, I’ve gradually lost a lot of muscle mass in the last 6 months. So, I needed to find a plan to tone myself up for all my summer season wedding related dresses without losing too much time from my already hectic schedule.

I found the One Hundred Pushup Plan, which lays out a 6 week plan where you build yourself up to be able to do 100 pushups. You do an initial test to see how many full push ups (or moderated ones if you need/want) you can do. Based on this initial number, you follow their 6 week plan. It’s 3 days a week for 6 weeks. Ultimately, you end up doing 100 pushups across 5 sets.
I am super excited about this plan. I’m a goal oriented person and challenges are my thing! Mr. Hot Wings laughed at me and thinks it’s crazy that I would be able to do 100 push ups in 6 weeks. He keeps telling me how hard 100 push ups are. (He’s actually been on his own push up plan.) So, we’ve got a little bit of a challenge going. If I complete the 100 push ups in 6 weeks, I get a special date night that he’ll plan to celebrate my success.
Let’s document with some before pictures:

In my initial test, I did 6 push ups. That’s not great, but it’s not too bad.
Anyone want to join me in the 100 Push Up Challenge or have another physical challenge they’re doing to prepare for wedding festivities?
