Attempting an Inspiration Board

I thought creating an inspiration board would be one of those simple little things I could easily throw together as a fun way to reflect our wedding style. WRONG. It was really challenging to find a combination of pictures that convey the “feel” we are trying to achieve!

It’s not perfect (and I may play with it a little more over time) but, for now, here’s my inspiration board!

Oh wow, that’s a great board! I’m not just saying that because mine uses some of the same pictures, either. (change the purple for black)

Looks really pretty! I didn’t put an inspiration board together until a few months before the wedding, once I really had the vision!

Oh I love love your board! Beautiful!
Really loving the dark purple BM dresses….well for one b/c dark purple is 1 of my colors….and all around your board is just lovely!

I want to do purple too! I love the way it looks good on just about every person! I’m doing a spring wedding, so i’m doing pops of lime green to give it a spring feel!

ooh, it looks lovely. i did end up doing an inspiration board and i was excited it worked out. i was able to get the general feel for the day. now i’m working on individual boards for the big components of the day: my look, ceremony, and reception

that cake–i’m in love. you’re killing me miss seashell. this is basically the exact look we’re going for, more or less. in fact, our invitations look eerily similar to the inspiration pic. keep the wedding looks coming!
