The other day, while digging for buried treasure in a Michaels dollar bin, I came upon these festive little cards:
Pineapple note cards? For me? Yes please!
I figured I could use them in our out-of-town bags, as some-sort of a welcome/thank-you-for-coming letter. I brought a few packs of them home and stuck them in a random “wedding-bin” in the house. Later, I took them out to show my mom, and then realized - there are two pineapples on the front. Are you following my train of thought?

Happy faces make everything cuter, I tell you. And they had all sorts of other fruits at Michaels, too. Like strawberries! How cute would a strawberry person be? I decided to stick with pineapples though, since they are pretty Hawaiian-esque. Mr. Sew was upset that they didn’t have any limes and coconuts.
Funny how a cheerful pineapple can make a stressed-out bride smile. Maybe I should draw silly faces on everything else that stresses me out.
What’s given you a de-stress moment recently? And do you have any ideas for a good, “pineappley” opening line for this welcome letter?

We are SO on the same page - I saw those too and picked up a bunch for our OOT bags. Didn’t think to draw faces though…perhaps that’s because I’m a terrible artist. If I had even 10% of your skills I’d be all over that! Hmm, it may be time to survey the bridal party on their drawing skills. 
Hehehe, I want some pineapple or strawberry cards! Great idea.
P.S. I think you SHOULD draw silly faces on all other stressful things… vendors, well-meaning but pushy family members, etc.

Not sure if you know this or not but pineapples are also used as a symbol of welcome and hospitality, so those cards completely fit as your welcome/thank you for coming note cards
I actually bought the strawberry ones not long ago (not for wedding stuff, but just for stationery). They had limes at my Michaels, but there were more than 2 limes on them.
I LOVE the faces you made on the pineapples. So cool!
