About Ms. Stripes

Thank you all so much for your comments on my VERY important diamond decision. I was totally overwhelmed (in a good way) by all your thoughtful advice AND totally intrigued by one reader’s suggestion that we invert the yellow/white gold in the design so as to have yellow daisies. Yellow daisies sound pretty, non?

But I’m getting ahead of myself. Did I make a decision? Yes. The decision is NO Diamond. And with that question answered I quickly moved on to pondering this intrinsically intriguing inversion. I mean quick like lightning. I emailed Adzia about four minutes after reading puzzle’s comment to ask if she could invert the metals and send me a new CAD image. And because she’s awesome she did. And because you all are awesome I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this new diamond-less development.

So let’s get ready to rumble. It’s daisy decision time round two. Ding ding!

In the left corner we have our original contender Yellow/White Daisies:

Yellow/White or White/Yellow? : wedding los angeles rings 15 1

In the right corner our newcomer White/Yellow Daisies:

Yellow/White or White/Yellow? : wedding los angeles rings 23 2

A quick side by side comparison:

Yellow/White or White/Yellow? : wedding los angeles rings 33 3

So the all-important question today is: Yellow/White Daisies OR White/Yellow Daisies?

AND are you asking your friends/family/community for input on important wedding decisions or do you prefer to make decisions with only your partner (in crime)??

I LOVEEEE the version on the right with the yellow daisies. I think it makes the ring even more gorgeous, and somewhere more “elegant” as well!

I actually really prefer the white daisies. I like that there’s more yellow gold visible when the daisies are white.

I love the original! I like the “idea” of the daisies being gold, but they seem to stand out so much more being silver and set in gold.

Ohh tough…I like the white/gold version better, but I prefer white gold in general. I’d go with your favorite metal as the more dominant one.

Before I scrolled down and saw the comparison, I thought I’d prefer the yellow daisies, being strongly in the white gold camp when it comes to jewelry. Surprise, surprise, but I actually like the white daises better. Crazy~!

Either way you go, that’s going to be one striking and awesome ring!

I like yellow/white! Look fancier I think since there’s more gold color than white.
But really it’s just an awesome ring either way :)
