This was it.

Today, I get to marry the man who ate eggplant on our first date only for me to discover later that he hates eggplant and is the pickiest eater I know - but he already knew he’d blow his chances if he didn’t try it. The man who would drive to my house in the middle of the night to sing me my favorite song, just to cheer me up. The man who will kiss my forehead any time I lean in because he knows it’s my favorite thing in the world. The man who makes me happier than I thought anyone ever could. I am a lucky, lucky girl.

This past week has been amazing, with love from family and friends pouring in. Judging from the many times I’ve cried (from happiness/love) already, I’m going to need to stuff my clutch with tissues to bring with me today!

I am so excited this day is finally here, and I couldn’t have planned it without you, hive.

You all have been an incredible support, and I can’t thank you enough for your feedback, help, and laughter. I know our wedding would not have been the same without this experience and I couldn’t imagine it any other way.

Mr. Guinea Pig, knowing that I get to spend the rest of my life with you brings me such peace and happiness. I can’t wait to make this commitment to you today, and start on new adventures as husband and wife.
