During Mr Piglet’s Love Actually reenactment, my bridesmaid did a quick scan of the room and noticed that (in her words)-
Among the women, there wasn’t a single dry eye, and among the married or dating men, there was a sense of panic – “how will we ever top that!?” ?Yes, even dear hubby hung his head in defeat.
Heehee. Way to set that bar sky high, Mr Piglet! His finale marked the end of our reception program. At that point, we were ready to break open the bubbly (kidding! already done hours before) and let loose on the dance floor!

Thanks to the strategic bar placement near our friends’ tables, people hit the dance floor pretty hard all night. And if they hadn’t, I knew I could rely on two of my girls to get the party started. #1 below. Show-off! ![]()

#2, my crazy sister. “I LOVE YOUR SISTER!” was echoed again and again after the wedding – on Facebook, in emails, while g-chatting, face-to-face. Good lawd, she made an impression. Her no-holds-barred MOH speech and fanatical moves on the dance floor were adored by ALL! Even Mr Piglet’s dad couldn’t resist her charm. ![]()

Neither could my Aunties from Hawaii.

She must get it from my Pops.

We asked our DJ, Tony So, to play a mix of old school hip hop, new wave, and some Korean pop music. Mr Piglet and I LOVE cheesy Korean pop music. It’s our thing. My only special requests were Kenny Loggins – Footloose, Paperboy – Ditty, and When in Rome – Promise. Kenny Loggins didn’t really go with the mix, but look how happy that song makes me. See? See? See?!

(P.S. Hawaii Brides, Tony So, HIGHLY recommended)

And here comes a slew of pictures captured throughout the night.

The mush and gush of the evening (as described by my lovely bridesmaid) rubbed off on quite a few of our friends. Mr Piglet’s groomsman and his woman stepped outside on the lanai during the reception, and shared a quiet moment dancing together.

My adorable parents.

And Mr Piglet’s.

Not everyone made it to the end of the night.

But we did! We boogied down until the very end. When the lights turned on, we hugged it out with everyone, vendors included, then called it a night and headed upstairs. We ended our evening doing the thing we love most. Eating. And then falling asleep as a result. ![]()

And here we are. The last photo snapped of us on our wedding day. Oh, how sweet it is to reach the light at the end of the tunnel.

We’re almost there folks! Next up, a glimpse at the details.
