Over the course of the last few months, and during the entire duration of our 80-degree honeymoon, I wanted my hair GONE. In fact, I totally almost pulled a Mascara and got my hair cut at our resort’s spa! You see, I get hot very easily, and when I am hot, I am crabby. And long hair = hot Cheeseburger. Not to mention the fact that my long hair added about 35 minutes onto my daily getting ready routine!

So you see where this is going. The Post Wedding Chop. The week after our honeymoon, I called and got the earliest appointment available. I arrived with zero inspiration photos. All I said was: cut it off and layer it, just above my shoulders. She was hesitant, but understood. Then, she suggested something that made it all worthwhile - Locks of Love!

She quickly put my hair in a ponytail, measured the obligate 10 inches, and 5 seconds later, my hair was gone:

As I ran my fingers through my (now very, very short) hair, I realized that a lot more was gone than I had originally envisioned. Oh well! It went to a great cause, and I did have to admit that my hair felt amazing now that all the split ends were gone!
