Yes. You read correctly. My red soled romance is over. Done. Finished.
And we never even went all the way (down the aisle).
They were beautiful while they lasted though:

Yikes! How did this happen, you may ask?
Rewind a few weeks. I may have developed a *tiny* crush on another pair of shoes. No big deal—just a stolen glance here and there. A quick stroke of the luminous satin as I passed by. And then we started spending more time together due to the nature of my work. I may have enjoyed an iced soy latte or two in the shoe department. And then I brought them home. And it was a bit awkward.
So Saturday I bit the bullet and broke up with Mr. Louboutin. I know. I know. Who does that?
I tried to explain all the way back to Sak’s. I used all the classics:
It’s not you, it’s me. You don’t lift me up. You don’t give me wings.
Not like my new loves. And so without further ado I give you my effin’ amazing Miu Mius:

Spectacular right?! Sky high and covered in birds. It feels like we were meant to be together. And way back before that sneaky Mr. Louboutin swept me off my feet, you may remember that I was desperately looking for a cute platform/wedge to no avail. It was a tough journey, but with a little perseverance and a wandering eye I (think) I’ve finally found the wedding shoes of my dreams.
Any other footwear infidelities or accessory indecision to confess? Anyone else more concerned with their footwear than their actual dress?
