So I think I kept you guys waiting long enough. Are you ready to see some of our engagement photos?

I was super-excited to finally meet our photographer in person. She spent an entire afternoon hanging out with us and schlepping around my apartment complex for good photo spots. We were a little camera-shy at first, but she did a great job of helping us feel comfortable. Not only is she talented, but she is also the sweetest and most professional individual I have had the pleasure of working with. We had a lot of laughs and Mr. S and I are extremely pleased with how our engagement pictures turned out.

The first place we hit up was a small park a few blocks away from my apartment.

We found the perfect spot to spread a blanket out on and just enjoyed each other’s company.

Oh no! Our watermelon got attacked by ants!! Just kidding, I bought the plastic ants from eBay.

I love this shot… we look like we’re dancing or something.

I was pretty nervous so I’m sure he whispered something immature in my ear to get this reaction. He’s silly like that.

Mr. S wanted to dip me but we were standing on unsteady ground, with me in my heels, and we both know I am neither small nor dainty… so I was super-scared. I swear I thought he was going to drop me in that water. But my man is strong and he didn’t drop me. Can you tell how hard I’m gripping onto him, though?

We love Tinky! She’s our little bug-eyed chihuahua.

Little Tinky was thirsty, so we let her lick the juicy watermelon.
