Mrs. Argyle's Picture
Mrs. Argyle, St. Louis Age and Occupation: 24, Project Coordinator Fiance's Age and Occupation: 24, Pilot Engagement Date: February 15, 2009 Wedding Date: September 2010 Venue: Jewel Box in Forest Park and Windows on Washington About Me: I'm a true Midwestern girl (born and raised), lover of red wine, reality TV and the entire J.Crew catalog. I love to dance regardless of who is watching, and enjoy a good laugh with my girls. I have a soft spot in my heart for planet Earth, my two dogs and my fiance. Fall is my favorite season (which is why we are marrying in September), but I love a warm summer day and the Colorado mountains in the winter. We are planning a modern soiree downtown, with lots of bold colors, and fun, eco-friendly elements.
About Mrs. Argyle

I love, love, love to wear my pearls. I at least always have my pearl earrings in everyday, and wear my pearl necklaces when I can. It’s pretty much a staple with my wardrobe. Shoes? Check. Pants? Check. Pearls? Check.

BUT, for the wedding day, I’m hanging up my pearls (well, laying them in my jewelry box).

Why?

Because I found the most awesomeist necklace to wear:

I Love My Pearls, but Not This Time : wedding jewelry st louis V275b

Not only is this sucker red and funky and fun, but it’s also made from reclaimed felt. In other words, it’s eco-friendly. Score.

I had been avoiding searching for the perfect necklace because I didn’t think I’d find something funky enough. Plus I did not want to spend countless hours searching. So, thank you blogosphere for introducing to me to said necklace. Now, all that’s left is to order that beauty.

Have you found your perfect wedding accessory yet? Where’d you look?

It looks like a really long red shoestring all bundled up. But it looks pretty funky too.

If you really are in love with pearls, sometimes you can find reclaimed or recycled pearls.

I’m really anxious to see what it looks like on you! I found my wedding jewelry (well, bracelet) on Etsy. By accident. I hadn’t intended to get any new jewelry for the wedding and then…oops! (c:

It’s really cute & def funky. I’m very interested in seeing it paired with a wedding gown. It sort of reminds me of hair binders, in a way.

It’s beautful! I love that you found something that even matches your decor.

If my grandmother hadn’t offered a family heirloom to wear (umm, how do you say no to the sweetest nana on the planet?!) I wanted to find some awesome blue statement piece. Love that look!
