Last Tuesday I attended a launch party for the first ever J Crew bridal boutique here in New York City. Darcy Miller hosted the event, and with Darcy + J Crew teaming up, I knew that I was in for a fabulous soiree. What I didn’t expect was to see so many fabulous bridal bloggers there!

Vane (of Brooklyn Bride) and I hopped in one of these pedicabs when all the bridal bloggers headed to dinner after the party. The wedding industry and the bridal blogging industry is actually quite small, so it’s great that we’re all able to run into each other regularly and catch up.
I love the chambray shirt trend because you can dress it up or dress it down. In fact I own the shirt below! 
Perfectly folded cardigans in every possible color lined the walls. The store has all the accessories you need for your wedding day, from perfume to purses, shoes, jewelry, belts, headpieces… even Essie nail polish in some of their most popular neutral shades!

Oh man. How badly did I want that Streamer gown for my wedding? It was so gorgeous. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite mesh with my self-imposed $1000 limit on wedding spending!! I suppose I’d be a little more nuts to just like… buy it anyway to prance around the house in.
I actually bought that chambray shirt to wear on my wedding day getting ready but it was huuumungoo. Jcrew i love you but shrink your sizes please!

My girls are wearing the silk tafetta Bow Monde dress in chocoalte brown…an AMAZING dress. I may need to make a weekend trip to NYC though to get a rehearsal dinner dress for myself…and I’m still looking for wedding shoes and cardigan too! Woo hoo!

We’re using JCrew for bridesmaid’s dresses and I SOOOO wish this store had been open last summer, it would’ve been so helpful!! Looks like a fun party tho!

My girls are wearing JCrew…this store looks amazing! Getting BM dresses from JCrew was one of the easiest things I have done so far…one of the girls even had to exchange a dress that we got a discount and free shipping on b/c she recently found out she is expecting her second baby!!! A quick phone call and trip to the store and she had a new bigger dress in days…I highly recommend JCrew for BMs!
