In preparation for our engagement session, I’ve been gathering some inspiration from my photographer’s blog and from e-shoots I’ve adored on the web. Are you ready for some Friday photography overload? I sure am!

All these magic sunshine shots are dependent on timing and weather. But I think we’re going to be heavy on the couple moments and natural environment and easy on the props… although they are veeerry tempting.

oh wow that bottom right one in the first grouping is like a picture from a magazine. Yeah, I’m a sucker for the perfect fading light pics as well. Yey for mother nature setting the perfect scene.

So cute! I love the ones where the couples are “reading” their favorite books. And picnics, gotta have the picnics!!

I love the last five shots at the bottom of the page. Love the enigmatic shots and I’m quite amazed at how the photographer was able to capture the sweetness of the couple and the casualness of romance that exuded in all the photos.

Those are SO gorgeous! I actually was pretty adamant about not wanting any props in our photos, but our photographer brought along some balloons and a slate chalkboard, and the photos with those props are some of my favorites!

I totally wanted sunshine too, but got zero sunshine for both of our e-pic sessions. But we definitely had a lot of couple moments still.

I was hoping for a nice sunset at the beach near our house for our e-pics, and man, did we ever get it! I think it was the most brilliant colors I’ve ever seen there as the sun sank down into the Olympic mountains, how lucky we were. I can’t wait until our photographer gets them back to us.
