Back in early February, I attended a special taping of the Martha Stewart Show celebrating the 15th anniversary of Martha Stewart Weddings Magazine. Â Had I known I would be featured on camera 2 months after giving birth, I would have worn something more slimming than this ruffled concoction!

This heart shaped rose bouquet was a recreation of MS Weddings’ first cover.
We didn’t know if we were going to speak on camera, but we got mic’d up just in case. Â Darcy ended up saying hello to us on air and the camera panned to us, but we didn’t say anything. Â My mom happened to be channel surfing one day and landed on the Martha Stewart show just when I was on the screen! Â What are the odds of that?!
It was just before Valentine’s Day so there was a lot of pink decor…

The best part was we got to go backstage! Â Just beyond the stage doors is this ribbon/crafts/washer/dryer area.

I wish I didn’t have my picture taken with Martha so shortly after giving birth. Â That is what a tired new mom who hasn’t lost the baby weight looks like. 
 Ah well… I heart Martha forevermore.
