I know you remember my discussion of the heart shaped dish that Mr. Hot Wings and I received from Crate & Barrel. Mr. Hot Wings and I clearly didn’t like it. What did we do with it you ask? No, we didn’t trash it or give it to the Salvation Army with our other goods. Even better… it became an excuse to go on a bee-date!

What’s a bee-date you ask?

It’s when two bees go on a date!

Mrs French Bulldog was all too happy to oblige! We bee-dated with sushi at Hooked on Sushi and had a gift exchange! I re-gifted my heart shaped dish to Mrs Frenchie. And she re-gifted a beaded photo album to me.

Re-gifting… it’s a beautiful thing when all parties involved get what they actually want!

[Thanks for a wonderful time Frenchie. Maybe next time I’ll have the heart shaped flutes for you.]

I think everyone regifts at least once in their life. =p I know I’m a horrible gift-giver (because I hate shopping), so if someone regifts my gift to them, I’m totally not offended, but I’m usually a cash-giver anyhow.

I remember the hullaballo surrounding that dish! Maybe is a standard Chi-town C&B giveaway? I can see mine from here. I am a person of what I would consider normally good taste. I just don’t get why people hate that dish so much!
