We got our pro photos in the mail this week, and I am beyond excited. Here’s why: our beautiful (and I mean beautiful) proof book!

Amy Deputy Photography has sent us our wedding photos! We’ve actually been able to see them online for about 3 weeks already, but seeing them in print is oddly enough, a completely different experience.

It’s amazing how I notice different photos in the proof book than I did online - not sure what it is about seeing something on a screen versus paper in front of me, but I saw photos I thought I’d never seen before (even though they totally are in our online gallery, I checked 
).
(All my bridesmaids chose awesome shoes for themselves - I wanted to steal a few)
Did I mention we have lots of photos?

But don’t worry, Amy also sent us a disc so that I can blog!

So, hooray! Guinea Pig recaps will start soon! Up first though, our honeymoon!
Do you prefer seeing photos on a screen, or in print? Do you notice a difference between the two? Am I crazy?
aww! So sweet! I love that picture of you hugging him from behind…love those photos and wish we did one like it! Cant wait to see more…we still have to pick our photos and send them to the photographer for the ones we want in our book!
Yea, GP recaps! I agree with you - I think there’s a huge difference between looking at pics online vs. in print, though I don’t know if that makes you less crazy or me more.
it is different seeing them in person! love that the proofs came as a photobook of sorts.

I don’t think your crazy! I loved seeing our photog’s portfolio in person even though I already loved her work online. I can’t wait for your recaps! Exciiittiing!!!!

So jealous of your proof book!! The CDs are nice, as is Pictage, but it’s sooo much harder to sort and pick prints when they are digital vs. right in front of you on a page to compare/contract. You lucky woman, you.

OK, want to say that Amy Deputy is aMAZing, but after all, she had a gorgeous bride and groom to work with in my opinion.
I feel really silly asking this, but I am to curious not to:
I haven’t seen a proof book like that. Will you get another “for real” book, or do you get to make that yourself?
I am all about seeing photos in print. Something about them seems so much more vivid and real than their computer counterparts, much like a real book. Yeah, a kindle would never work for me . . .
