I haven’t decided whether or not I’ll post pics of my dress on me yet since Mr. Socks is a loyal reader of my blog (Thanks Honey!) but this is the dress:

She looks a little bored, doesn’t she? It’s meant to be a fun dress and she’s like…trying to make it all serious and elegant, and she’s just NOT rocking it.

I will rock this dress.

Picture me with my yellow Kate Spade pumps, my Kate Spade clutch, with my hair down, maybe a bit curly, with a headband of sparkles and feathers (or a flower) and with a SMILE on my face!

Currently, the dress is short in front and longer in the back, but it won’t stay that way. I’ll have the alterations woman at David’s Bridal bustle the dress (french bustle) so that it’s one length all the way around. I think I’d just rather keep it up all night, but if I change my mind, I could certainly wear it down for part of the evening.

Yeah, I’m gonna rock this dress.

My goodness! I really disliked the dress in the DB catalog. Now I see it in action and it’s amazing! What a difference a person makes in it! It’s like she breathed new life into it.

OMG I’ve been looking at that dress for the LONGEST time! I’ve never seen it in action? How does it fit? I loved your shoes btw, I think you need to rock a serious pair with that dress! May I ask why you are altering it to one length? I love the long back because I think it gives it a certain point of view.

I swear this is so weird, I was just googling it tonight to see reviews and if there are any real pictures out there. So gorgeous!

@xoxokristin: It fits awesomely…it’s super comfortable, it has pockets, and it’s a great fabric.

The reason I’m getting it bustled is because I really just like it better on me when it’s shorter! I had DB mock up a bustle for me and fell in love with it. I think it looks beautiful both ways, but it feels more “me” when I envision it shorter!

LOVE it! My personal opinion is to leave it down with that beautiful asymmetrical line for the ceremony adn bustle it up for later!

That has to be the best DB find…EVER! I would not have guessed it was from them. It’s so unique! I would also second the idea of leaving it down for the ceremony, then bustling it later. Can’t wait to see it on you!!
