Seeing Mr. Taffy for the first time on May 30th was one of the happiest moments of our wedding day. I was so excited to meet him on the front steps of our venue that our bridal party and DOC could barely keep me inside! The morning rain had cleared and the sky was absolutely beautiful—blue and sunny. 
Our wonderful photographer captured an excited and somewhat nervous Mr. Taffy waiting…
… for his extremely happy bride! I practically busted out of those doors!
But Mr. Taffy had not turned around yet! I started to sneak up on him…
and he turned to face me…

There. That’s a little better!
He started running over to me, and even jumped up the steps!
We locked eyes…
and embraced for the first time on our wedding day. This next shot is one of my favorites!!! Our photographer really caught the moment and captured our happiness.
Mr. Taffy took a step back to check out my wedding day look. Finally, he could see my dress!
And?
I’ll let the picture speak for him.
If you are thinking about doing a first look on your wedding day, we highly recommend it! It was so wonderful to have these intimate moments together before our ceremony. Being surrounded by our bridal party made it even more awesome.
Directly after our first look, we took portraits with our bridal party, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our day. I can’t wait to share those photos with you all!
Until then, I’ll be blogging about our fabulous first anniversary / belated honeymoon trip to Paris!
