After parties are a hot thing right now, and why not? If you aren’t too tired after your wedding, why make the party stop on one of the best days of your life?

But do you really want to drag around a big wedding dress when you hit up the town?

I thought not. As for me, my dress is short, but still kind of poofy, so I’m looking into an after party dress!

We prob won’t be doing an after party….gotta get up early for our honeymoon flight the next day.

Our reception isn’t “in town,” and our hotel is right next door. So since we don’t want to worry about our guests driving after a night of drinking, we’ll probably just have the after-party at the hotel in someone’s room (NOT. OURS!). So I intend to lounge around in and enjoy my wedding dress for as long as possible. (c:

You read my mind. We’re escaping for a little us time and then we’ll meet up with our friends who are staying until Monday. We’re not planning anything or, more importantly, paying for anything, we’re just planning on having fun with friends. Anyway, I’m buying my dress from another Bee today when I get home and it’s BCBG.

I changed for the actual party. As soon as our first dance was over and everyone joined us on the dance floor my dress was immediately stepped on and the bustle pulled out. I knew that was my cue to change into a cute $25 H&M dress.

I don’t know what we’ll do, our wedding ends at 4P. Some people tell us to just go to the hotel and kick back others tell us to go have an after party. I don’t know what to do. By the way that BCBG dress is my fav and makes me want to have an after party just so I can wear it!

We had our after party at an Irish pub about half a block from the resort where the main event was held. I changed into a short, off-white dress with a black sash that I found at Ross for $24.99. It was perfect!

Those are adorable!! My favs are #4 and the BCBG. Love Nordstroms! Our venue has a martini bar/ lounge that will stay open til 2, so we don’t have to go far for the after party!!

Cute dresses!! We had an after party, we rented out a bar in the hotel where my wedding took place so I just stayed in my dress. Plus, I figured I was never going to wear it again so what’s another couple hours?

We had every intention of going out and hittin’ the bars after the wedding. But the hubbers and I both fell asleep on the shuttle bus ride back to our hotel (I’m pretty sure all of our guests fell asleep too), so we ended up crashing at the hotel instead.

I really wanted an after party dress, my sister even offered to buy it for me because she saw some cute ones. But, the more I thought about it the more I decided I was just going to wear my dress. My mom spent enough on it and I’m never going to wear it again!
