I am super excited to be planning our vineyard wedding and couldn't be happier to be marrying Mr. Locket. We are a quirky, fun-loving couple residing in our college town with our two pups Maple and Molly. We love to go on hikes, visit our local dog park and to bask in the beauty of many of the local falls and gorges. We are an indecisive pair, but together we somehow manage to make up our minds (it's the easy stuff that's tricky).

In theory, I should have had Our Save the Dates ready and in the mail by now, but life has kept me busy and I have this issue with procrastination. Don’t get me wrong, I have made my attempts and have spent many hours on the computer messing around with Photoshop. Unfortunately, up until today I did not have much luck and wasn’t able to create a version that I liked.

After a long day of lounging around I decided to take this project head on and am rather pleased with the results. After 3 hours of dedication and determination here she is—my favorite mock up of our Save the Date thus far. I like it a lot, but am waiting for the Mr. to get home before I get too excited. We often have differing opinions when it comes to invite designs, etc. I am hopeful though because it includes everything he wanted: fall colors, fall foliage and a picture he could tolerate of himself. What do you think? I will probably make a few more mock-ups before the final decision is made.

Is your wedding really September 25th? Doesn’t that mean you are going to be sending out invitations in a few more weeks? I’m just wondering why you are sending out STDs now.

OH NO!!! The un-edited post went up! I edited a different version of this post that was supposed to go up….the was written months ago…our STDs are already out!!!
