Mr. Lab and I knew early on that we wanted to exchange gifts on the wedding day. I came up with my gift for him soon after getting engaged. It was SO hard to keep it a secret until the wedding day. I think he knew what was up the day I went to go “make” it though…
As for his gift to me, it was so sweet I had a hard time believing he came up with it all by himself! Of course, he ran it by FMIL & FSIL Lab for their approval first, but still, it was impressive.
One of my favorite things in the whole wide world: a charm bracelet!
I have a ton of these (mostly sport-related). But it’s nice to have one with a such a sentimental value.
Mr. Lab hand-picked each charm. He started with our wedding date. Then he added the “love” and “laugh” because he said those are the two things we do the most when we’re together. 
Then he added a couple more personal touches. Like a Labrador Retriever for our fur babies and of course, a nod to my Weddingbee moniker!
He wanted a charm to symbolize Savannah but could only think of nearby Tybee Island’s lighthouse. It’s kind of ironic considering the last time we were there, his fear of heights nearly gave him a stroke!
And of course, a football. Because we should all know by now how much I love that darn sport. 
I love love love this gift because it’s a gift that will grow with us. He already has plans to add charms to it as we pass important milestones (i.e. our first home, baby, anniversaries, etc.).
I don’t have any specific photos of my gift on the wedding day because Mr. Lab slipped it to me on the trolley ride to the reception. But I do have some of Mr. Lab’s gift! Once again, groomsman Jimmy to the rescue!

There’s actually a lot more to that photo. The rest looks more like its inspiration: the fabulous GaGa! (sans the smeared lipstick)

I’m getting him boudoir pics too which I hope to hear about soon. He found out though because I pulled up an email chain from our phtographer in front of him and freaked out about him reading it. Oops. I should’ve just played it off.

Ooh la la! That is one hot present! You are absolutely stunning in the photos you showed us! 
99 days to go and I have no clue what to get him. We have a hard enough time at obligatory gift giving occasions. Ideas anyone? The boudoir pics are great but not our style so that’s out and I swear he owns every gadget known to mankind. I could get him a really nice watch but I would have to find a way to get him to tell me which one he likes I’d hate to spend that kind of money and get the wrong one….help.

@jaylii9: My photographer made the album. I don’t even know what company she used. We did the session about two weeks before the wedding and I got the book the day before the wedding. Cutting it close!
@alivoo01: I wore my hair straight for the whole thing. It was the easiest way to go!

I am so in love with your charm bracelet…what a sweet gift…they are such nice charms too. Any idea where he got it? Wow at your photo book for him! Sexy, classy, beautiful! I think my husband would love me holding a football in a photo like that too!! We love football and the Pittsburgh Steelers! ♥

@D.Marie: I asked the hubs and he said he’ll have to get on the interwebs to find out. It’s been so long since he bought it, but it’ll be good to refresh his memory so he can bookmark it for future charm purchases!
I’ll update here once I have an answer.
Awee I SOOO wish we had done an ‘exchange of gifts’ before our wedding. I didn’t even bother because we were so busy with everything else going on in our lives besides our wedding. I did put together an album of pictures for the hubby from a boudoir session I did. He got it on our wedding night (I was so tired I almost forgot to give it to him!). Love the charm bracelet. So sweet and sentimental!
Looking forward to the rest of your recaps. I’ve been waiting for soooo long!!!!!
